Mainboard 24 pin and GPU power

Now it’s time for the real fun part, the mainboard and GPU power cables. Regardless if you’re running a GPU that takes 3 PCIe cables like my GTX 580 Classified Ultra or a lower power hungry card like the 9800GTX+ that I use here, the route is generally going to be the same.

You can kinda twist your cables around to remove some of the extra length like this, then secure them to their respective bases.

If you give them some slack with the sleeved extensions, then they can make a lovely curl when they go around that panel, which acts to add that extra flourish. After you’ve done that, head on over to the next page to see my last few tips.

    has a socket474 board a biostar,and when i bought it it came with a intel and they switched it out on me to this bio board and i have nothing but trouble from day one,Thumbs down for sytemax PC’s stay away from em
